PEPTOMA is a decentralized science (DeSci) platform focused on peptide sequence analysis and open research coordination. The platform allows users to submit amino acid sequences, run AI-assisted analysis, and publish results in a public research feed accessible to researchers, biohackers, and independent contributors.
The analysis pipeline combines structure prediction, bioactivity classification, disease relevance scoring, and annotation support. Predicted 3D structures are generated using ESMFold, bioactivity classification is supported by fine-tuned protein language models such as ProtBERT, and annotation suggestions are provided to help guide peer review and discussion.
Each completed analysis is stored in a searchable public feed and pinned to IPFS for permanent recordkeeping. Community members can contribute structured annotations by confirming, challenging, extending, or tagging findings, creating an open and continuously improving peptide knowledge base.
The platform operates on Solana and uses the $PEPTOMA token for analysis access, staking tiers, contributor rewards, and governance participation. Smart contract logic is built using the Anchor framework, with token activity supporting platform usage rather than passive speculation.
PEPTOMA is designed as infrastructure for open peptide research, aiming to reduce barriers to early-stage sequence analysis and make scientific contribution more accessible outside traditional institutional environments.
