OPAL is an innovative AI gaming companion designed to act as a reliable duo for players in both competitive and casual games. Powered by Claude Opus the OPAL agent queues into matches, joins voice chats, and plays alongside users in real time—functioning as a true teammate rather than a passive bot. Built by a fully bootstrapped team of two developers with no venture capital backing, the project emphasizes autonomy, utility, and community-first growth.
OPAL launched its $OPAL token on Solana introducing a novel agent-owned economy. The AI operates with an autonomous wallet capable of receiving tips, purchasing in-game cosmetic items, and interacting with external food-ordering services, extending the agent’s utility beyond gameplay. Currently in early beta, access is limited to top community marketers and selected Discord applicants. Looking ahead, the team plans to expand OPAL into agentic Discord bots for broader server-level integration, with an upcoming announcement teased as the project enters its next phase.
