ETHCAT ($ETHCAT) is a community meme token issued as an ERC-20 on Ethereum mainnet. Its theme derives from the cat illustration that appears in the artwork on ethereum.org, and from a Farcaster post by Vitalik Buterin in which he noted that he and his family keep cats rather than dogs. The project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Ethereum Foundation.

The token has a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000. Contract ownership has been renounced and the liquidity has been burned. ETHCAT has no treasury, no team or advisor allocation, and no vesting schedule. It trades permissionlessly on Ethereum decentralized exchanges.
