In December 2013, kr105, also known as Carlos Pizarro, forked Litecoin and shipped Catcoin, the first cat-themed blockchain. He stepped away. The chain still ticks. In 2026 he's back with $CATCOIN, now live on Solana and Robinhood Chain. New chains, same person, and this time the cats get fed.

The cat-themed coin concept is being positioned to embrace the future through the Ethereum (robinhood) blockchain via the $CatCoin token. The team is putting in significant effort to ensure people understand that the project isn’t focused on making a quick profit.

A playable on-chain game has already been developed at lastcat.gg, and a strong website launch is planned soon. To help manage supply, the team is also burning tokens to reduce the circulating supply. As ATH continues to rise, additional initiatives are planned, including a donation to real cat shelters once the project reaches 350K ATH.
