Blockbook indexes the blockchain, runs a block explorer, and serves the API Trezor Suite queries for your balances and history. Here's how it works.
How Trezor Suite uses Blockbook
When you connect your Trezor, Trezor Suite talks to Blockbook to fetch your transaction history and balances and to help you build new transactions, without having to wait for your own computer to sync the whole blockchain.
Most coins, including Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin, use Blockbook. A few, such as XRP, Cardano, Solana, and Stellar, use other backend types. You can see every coin backend and its current status on the Trezor status page.
Look up an address or transaction yourself
You can use Trezor's hosted Blockbook explorer in a browser to look up any address or transaction. See Trezor's block explorer for how.
Run your own Blockbook
